Clearer ADHD medication titration for adults and clinicians.
Medication context guide

Food, hydration, caffeine, and alcohol

The basics can change how steady the day feels

Appetite, meals, fluids, caffeine, and alcohol can all affect energy, mood, sleep, pulse, side effects, and concentration. That is why Titrio lets you record simple context beside medication notes.

Why it matters

Medication is only one part of the day

ADHD medication can affect appetite and sleep for some people. At the same time, missed meals, low fluid intake, caffeine, alcohol, and late nights can all affect how the body feels. Context notes make that easier to remember later.

Food and appetite

If you barely ate, ate much later than usual, or felt post-meal fatigue, it may affect energy, irritability, headaches, and how long the day feels manageable.

Hydration

Low fluid intake can contribute to headaches, tiredness, poor concentration, dizziness, and feeling generally off. A quick note may be enough.

Caffeine and alcohol

Caffeine can affect anxiety, pulse, sleep, and appetite. Alcohol can affect sleep quality, mood, and next-day concentration.

What to record

Useful notes might be: skipped breakfast, ate much less than usual, forgot to drink, more caffeine than usual, alcohol last night, nausea, low appetite, post-meal fatigue, or stomach upset.

The point is not to track everything perfectly. It is to keep enough context that your next medication review does not rely on memory alone.

Record context, then discuss concerns

If appetite, weight, stomach symptoms, alcohol use, caffeine, pulse, sleep, or mood are worrying you, speak to a qualified healthcare professional.
