ADHD medication titration
How to prepare for your ADHD medication review
Medication reviews are easier when you do not have to rely on memory.
General information only, not medical advice. Last reviewed: 26 May 2026. Clinical/content review: Lisa Hudson, ADHD Nurse Specialist.
Before your review, look back and ask
You do not need to arrive with perfect data. A short, honest summary is often enough to make the conversation more useful.
Titrio Focus is designed to turn everyday notes into a clearer summary for your prescriber.
- What felt easier?
- What still felt difficult?
- Did the medicine seem to help at the time of day I needed it most?
- Did I notice appetite, sleep, mood, pulse, blood pressure or weight changes?
- Were there any side effects I want to talk through?
- Did I miss any doses or take any late doses?
- Were there days where work, stress, sleep, hormones or routine changes may have affected how I felt?
- What questions do I want to ask before anything changes?
Safety note
This guide is for general information only. It does not replace advice from your prescriber, GP, pharmacist or specialist ADHD service. Do not change your medication, dose or timing without speaking to your prescriber.
If you feel seriously unwell or unsafe, seek urgent medical help using the emergency route in your country. In the UK, use NHS 111 for urgent advice or call 999 in an emergency. If you are outside the UK, use your local urgent or emergency medical service.
